New London, Conn.: Self-published, 1882. Revised and Enlarged Edition. Good in its original green cloth covered boards with black end sheets. The spine is decorated with gilt text and a gilt image of the Groton Heights Memorial. The front board is decorated with a bird's eye view of the ramparts of the fort. The cloth joints are rubbed, the rear hinge has cracked, and professionally repaired, and the front hinge is starting. Nonetheless, the binding remains strong. The cloth at the head and heel of the spine is rubbed and the cloth at the lower tips of the boards is worn through. There are no prior ownership markings of any kind in this volume. This edition was revised from the first by Charles Allyn with additional notes and enlarged.
